Crock Pot Love.

I am Southern. And like all good Southerners, I love food. Always have, always will. Breastfeeding has multiplied that love in to an obsession. When did I last eat? When can I eat again? How much can I eat? What can I eat? Will anyone notice that I've eaten enough for four linebackers? All of these questions derive from the fact, of course, that SHE. IS. SUCKING. ME. DRY.

TMI? My deepest apologies. This is who I have become in hunger. A woman who announces uncomfortable sorts-of-things over the internets.

Oh well.

Here are some new crock pot recipes that I have tried recently that everyone under my roof has enjoyed.

Crock Pot Shredded Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients

4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

1 Jar of Greek Pepperoncini Peppers

Hamburger Buns

Optional Toppings

Slaw

Mayonnaise

Barbecue Sauce

Place disposable slow cooker bag in slow cooker, then place rinsed chicken breasts in slow cooker. Pour jar of peppers over chicken. Cover; cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours. Pull chicken out of peppers, shred with fork. Assemble sandwiches.

Crock Pot Cheesy Chicken & Rice

Ingredients

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

½ Chopped Vidalia Onion

Yellow Rice

Cup of Cheddar Cheese

Can of Cream of Chicken Soup

Can of Whole Kernel Corn

Place disposable slow cooker bag in slow cooker, then place rinsed chicken breasts in slow cooker. Scatter chopped onion over top, spoon over cream soup. Cover, cook on low setting for 7 to 8 hours. Cook yellow rice according to directions. Before serving, stir cooked rice, corn, & cheese into chicken mixture.

Crock Pot Italian Chicken

Ingredients

Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts

Packet of dry Zesty Italian Dressing

Package of Cream Cheese, softened

Can of Cream of Chicken Soup

Bowtie Pasta

Place disposable slow cooker bag in slow cooker, then place rinsed chicken breasts in slow cooker & sprinkle dry Italian dressing over it. Combine cream cheese & cream of chicken soup, pour over chicken. Cover, cook on low setting for at least 4 hours. Cook bowtie pasta according to directions. Serve chicken over pasta.

Sorry for lacking pictures to accompany the recipes. However, I hope that this delicious picture can satisfy your palate.

Hmmm... might have to try these out :). I love how you mentioned the disposable bags... I was just telling Andrew last week that I seriously have no clue how I ever survived without them!
