I've got lots of random things on my mind today, so I thought I would do a little brain dump/mish mash post for funzies...
Miss Priss will be a little over three months old when Christmas rolls around... because we are blessed beyond measure by being surrounded by loving & supporting folks, there just aren't many things off her registries that she still needs that we didn't receive as shower gifts & because she has a slew of grandparents, aunts, uncles, & cousins who are making plans to shower her with Christmas goodies, Aaron & I are just getting her a few simple things that she needs. We will definitely be ordering this Deluxe Woombie in Ballet Pink Ruffles - the girl loves to sleep & to be swaddled but she is getting stronger by the day & starting to break out of Mommy's tight swaddles during the night - I know she will just LOVE this!

I have lots of fun things coming in the mail that I am excited about! I used to be so intimidated by online shopping, but now I find it to be one of my most favorite things - I love having packages dropped off at my front door! I had a generous gift card for Babies-R-Us so I decided to order a few things to kick-start our cloth diapering adventure & a food processor for when Prater is allowed to start baby foods - I can't wait to try my hand at making her food! I figure, I love making mine & her Daddy's food, why not at least try making hers? I also ordered some fun cards from SeeHere.com; using a coupon code I learned about from The Mom Creative, I was able to get 25 photo cards for free!

This child... Sweet Jesus... is the most delicious thing I have ever seen in my entire life. (Sorry, I may be a tad bit partial.) She is THE BEST baby EVER. She has been sleeping through the night for weeks, she only fusses when she is dirty or hungry. She is a champion eater. She has started smiling & 'talking' to her Daddy & I - we are absolutely in love & could not be enjoying parenthood more!
I am looking forward to hopefully finishing up this book & enjoying these fun Kate Spade books that another fabulous friend gifted me with for my birthday - 'Occasions', 'Style', 'Manners' - on our upcoming vacation! Aaron & I haven't been on a vacation longer than a weekend stay since the year we were married... we are really looking forward to the time away together, with our little love while trying to escape the devastation of last Thanksgiving.
One of my fabulous friends gifted me a Starbucks gift card for my birthday... I was going to use it to treat myself to a few vanilla bean frappuccinos but decided to pick up this fun Create-Your-Own Tumbler instead. It's a treat that keeps on being a treat! Even more fun, I was able to go on Snapfish.com & create a custom insert with pictures of my two favorite people in the world - Aaron & Prater! AND, for creating a new Snapfish account, I was able to order twenty 4x6 photos for free! Which is great because I ordered pictures of Prater that will be used as Christmas gifts! Hot dog, I am getting the hang of this online shopping/free stuff & I like it... I like it ALOT!
A few weeks ago, Chelsea & I took Prater Ellis to meet her Great-Great Grandmother, Granny Bear! It was such a special treat & I will forever cherish the pictures & video we took of Granny Bear enjoying Prater! We are so blessed to have so much aged wisdom in our family!

I have been reading 'Kisses from Katie' by Katie Davis & it is ROCKING MY WORLD! I would love to write more about it but I simply don't have the time right now. But what I will say is that I have seriously felt as though Aaron & I are to add to our family by adoption, & I have felt this for a very long time... I am already praying about what that will mean for us & our families. It's just something that has been a desire of my heart for a few years but is now growing stronger & stronger. Having Prater Ellis definitely amped up that desire - she will be so privileged & loved, how can I sit idle when I know there are children who won't be as blessed or gosh, just simply have their basic needs met?
